파일명 일괄 변경 사용법
사진 수백 장, 캡처 파일 수십 개의 이름을 한 번에 바꾸는 방법입니다. 원본은 그대로 두고 이름만 바꾼 zip을 새로 받습니다.
1. 준비: zip 하나로 모으기
이 도구는 zip을 받아서 zip으로 돌려줍니다. 이름을 바꿀 파일을 한 폴더에 모으고 압축하세요.
윈도우
파일을 모두 선택한 뒤 마우스 오른쪽 버튼 → 보내기 → 압축(zip) 폴더. 최신 윈도우라면 선택 후 압축 → ZIP 파일도 같은 일을 합니다.
맥

폴더째 넣어도 됩니다. zip 안에 하위 폴더가 있으면 구조는 그대로 두고 파일 이름만 바뀝니다. 사진/IMG_0001.jpg는 사진/photo_001.jpg가 됩니다.
zip 없이 파일만 끌어다 놔도 됩니다. 이때는 결과가 zip 하나로 묶여서 내려옵니다.
2. 3단계 사용법
1단계 — 파일 넣기
도구 화면의 점선 상자에 zip을 끌어다 놓거나 파일 선택을 누릅니다. 압축을 풀고 이름을 바꾸고 다시 묶는 일이 모두 브라우저 메모리에서 일어납니다. 파일은 서버로 가지 않으므로 인터넷을 끊어도 이름 변경과 다운로드는 그대로 됩니다.
2단계 — 규칙 정하기
빠른 시작 버튼 8개 중 하나를 누르면 아래 규칙 칸이 그 프리셋으로 채워집니다. 그대로 써도 되고 숫자와 글자만 고쳐도 됩니다. 규칙은 위에서부터 차례로 적용되니 순서를 바꾸면 결과도 달라집니다.
3단계 — 확인하고 내려받기
미리보기 표에서 변경 전 / 변경 후 / 상태를 한 줄씩 봅니다. 걸리는 줄에는 확인이나 오류 표시가 붙습니다. 오류가 없으면 이름 바꾼 zip 다운로드를 누르면 끝입니다.
원본은 바뀌지 않습니다. 내려받는 것은 이름이 바뀐 사본이 담긴 새 zip입니다. 잘못 바꿨으면 원본 zip을 다시 넣고 규칙만 고치면 됩니다.
3. 규칙 12가지
규칙 칸의 드롭다운에서 고를 수 있는 항목입니다.

규칙은 쌓아서 씁니다
규칙 하나로 끝나는 일은 드뭅니다. 안전한 문자로 정리 뒤에 번호 매기기를 붙이면 정리된 이름에 번호가 차례로 붙습니다. 위에서 아래로 흐르는 순서만 지키면 원하는 만큼 쌓을 수 있습니다.
4. 정렬: 자연순과 원본순
미리보기 오른쪽 위의 토글로 표시 순서를 바꿉니다.
- 자연순 — 사람이 읽는 순서입니다.
1, 2, 3, …, 10. 기본값입니다. - 원본순 — zip에 실제로 저장된 순서입니다. 압축 프로그램이 만든 순서를 그대로 보여줍니다.
번호 매기기 규칙은 화면에 보이는 순서를 따릅니다. 그래서 원본순일 때와 자연순일 때 번호가 다르게 붙습니다. 사진 순서를 맞추는 일이라면 자연순이 거의 항상 정답입니다. 자연순에서는 IMG_999가 IMG_1000 뒤로 밀리는 일이 생기지 않습니다.
5. 예시 4가지
예시 1 — 휴대폰 사진을 순서대로 정리
IMG_2847.jpg부터 IMG_3100.jpg까지 254장이 있다고 해봅니다.

결과는 여행_001.jpg, 여행_002.jpg … 순서대로 붙습니다. 원본 파일명이 뒤죽박죽이어도 자연순 정렬이 숫자를 크기대로 읽어 주기 때문에 순서가 흐트러지지 않습니다.
예시 2 — 캡처·카카오톡 접두어 제거

예시 3 — 납품 전 군더더기 정리
최종 보고서 (1).docx, 최종 보고서 (2).docx 같은 이름은 받는 쪽에서 헷갈립니다. 규칙 두 개를 이어 붙이세요.

한글과 공백, #, ? 같은 문자는 URL에서 깨지거나 잘립니다.

6. 다른 방법과 비교
윈도우 탐색기나 파워셸로도 이름을 바꿀 수 있습니다. 무엇이 다른지 표로 비교합니다.

몇 개 안 되는 파일이라면 탐색기가 더 빠릅니다. 수십 개를 같은 규칙으로 맞추거나, 내려받기 전에 결과를 눈으로 확인해야 한다면 이 도구가 낫습니다.
7. 자주 하는 실수
실수 1 — 확장자까지 지워버림
찾아서 바꾸기로 .을 지우면 확장자까지 사라져서 파일이 열리지 않습니다. 확장자를 바꾸려면 확장자 변경 규칙을 씁니다. 확장자가 사라진 파일은 미리보기에서도 바로 보입니다.
실수 2 — 규칙 순서를 반대로 넣음
번호 매기기 뒤에 앞부분 지우기를 넣으면 방금 붙인 번호가 지워집니다. 규칙은 위에서 아래로 적용된다는 점만 기억하세요.
실수 3 — 이름이 중복됨
규칙이 겹쳐 두 파일이 같은 이름이 되면 미리보기에 오류가 붙습니다. 이 상태로 내려받으면 하나가 사라질 수 있으니 오류가 붙은 줄이 없는지 확인하고 다운로드하세요.
안전 장치: 원본 zip은 그대로 남습니다. 이름이 꼬였으면 원본으로 다시 시작하고 잘못 받은 결과물만 지우면 됩니다.

Batch file renamer guide
Here is how to rename hundreds of photos, or dozens of screenshots, in one pass. Your originals stay as they are and you get a new zip with the renamed copies.
1. Get ready: put everything in one zip
This tool takes a zip and returns a zip. Collect the files you want to rename in one folder, then compress it.
Windows
Select every file, then right-click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder. On recent versions, Compress → ZIP file does the same job.
macOS
Select every file and right-click → Compress. The selection is packed into a single Archive.zip.
Folders work too. If the zip contains subfolders, the structure stays and only file names change. photos/IMG_0001.jpg becomes photos/photo_001.jpg.
You can also drop loose files without a zip. The results come back bundled into one zip.
2. Three steps
Step 1 — Add files
Drop a zip onto the dashed box on the tool page, or click Choose files. Unpacking, renaming, and repacking all happen in browser memory. Nothing is uploaded, so renaming and downloading still work with the network off.
Step 2 — Set up rules
Click one of the eight Quick start buttons and the rule fields below fill in with that preset. Keep them as they are or adjust the numbers and text. Rules run top to bottom, so changing the order changes the result.
Step 3 — Review and download
Read the preview table row by row: Before / After / Status. Rows that need attention are marked Check or Error. With no errors left, click Download renamed zip.
Your originals are untouched. The download is a new zip holding the renamed copies. If the result is wrong, load the original zip again and change the rules.
3. The 12 rules
These are the entries in the rule dropdown.

Rules stack
One rule rarely finishes the job. Put Numbering after Safe characters and the cleaned names get numbers in order. Keep the top-to-bottom flow and you can stack as many as you need.
4. Sorting: natural and original
The toggle at the top right of the preview changes the display order.
- Natural — the order people read:
1, 2, 3, …, 10. This is the default. - Original — the order actually stored in the zip, exactly as the archiver wrote it.
Numbering follows the order shown on screen, so numbers land differently in each mode. For photos, natural order is almost always right. It never lets IMG_999 fall behind IMG_1000.
5. Four examples
Example 1 — Put phone photos in order
Say you have 254 photos running from IMG_2847.jpg to IMG_3100.jpg.
- Collect them in one folder and compress it into a zip
- In Quick start, click Number photos
- Change the prefix to
trip_
The result runs trip_001.jpg, trip_002.jpg and so on. Natural sorting reads the digits by value, so messy original names do not scramble the order.
Example 2 — Strip screenshot and KakaoTalk prefixes
Names like Screenshot_2026-10-28-143022.png carry a prefix you do not need.
- Choose Remove prefix

What is left is 2026-10-28-143022.png. KakaoTalk names look like KakaoTalk_20261028_143022123.jpg, so use Find and replace to replace KakaoTalk_ with nothing.
Example 3 — Clean up before delivery
Names such as final report (1).docx and final report (2).docx confuse whoever receives them. Combine two rules.
- Safe characters — spaces and brackets become underscores
- Numbering — two digits, prefix

You end up with report_01.docx, report_02.docx and so on.
Example 4 — File names that survive the web
Korean text, spaces, and characters like # and ? break or get cut off in URLs.

6. Compared with other methods
Windows Explorer and PowerShell can rename files too. Here is how they differ.

For a handful of files Explorer is faster. For dozens that need the same rule, or when you want to see the result before downloading, this tool is the better fit.
7. Common mistakes
Mistake 1 — Deleting the extension
Removing . with Find and replace also removes the extension, and the file will not open. Use the Change extension rule instead. Files that lost their extension show up in the preview right away.
Mistake 2 — Rules in the wrong order
Remove prefix after Numbering deletes the number you just added. That is the whole rule: top to bottom.
Mistake 3 — Duplicate names
When two files end up with the same name, the preview marks them Error. Downloading in that state can drop one of them, so clear every error row first.
Safety net: the original zip never changes. If names get tangled, start again from the original and delete only the bad download.
